The College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences offers excellent instruction and research training in the life, mathematical and physical sciences. Students live and study on a beautiful campus located in a commercially and culturally vibrant area of Southern California. UCR professors take an active role in fostering the intellectual and personal growth of students. Students excel in the sciences when they are immersed in the discovery-based inquiry of research projects, so the College has developed opportunities for students to join faculty labs. Some undergraduates even co-author journal articles and present research findings at scientific conferences prior to graduating.
